SUMMARY
Plasma Production Support Personnel are responsible for the loading and unloading of steel plates on the Plasma Cutting Machine as well as unloading, labeling, stenciling, and organizing parts on pallets to be sent to the next process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Efficient operation of forklifts and cranes to ensure parts are loaded and unloaded in a timely and safe manner.
- Label and stencil parts correctly with pertinent information.
- Organize parts neatly on pallets to be brought to the plasma outbox.
- Perform sampling of product at designated intervals to ensure tolerances and dimensions are within specifications.
- Increase process flow and delivery response by assisting in cutting scrap, removing debris.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance of the equipment to ensure maximum up-time.
- Participate in insuring a safe work environment through best practices including promoting of all company safety policies, procedures and OSHA guidelines.
- Inspect rigging equipment and forklift before use each day to ensure safety requirements are met.
- Acquire a working knowledge of operating plasma table in the event the operator is absent.
- Fill out necessary forms and paperwork.
- Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly.
- Ensuring quality and customer expectations are met on every order.

- High school or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
