C & B Material Handling, LLC (part of the C & B Equipment family), a leader and supplier of choice in material handling equipment, automation solutions, and industrial equipment rental, is seeking a Parts Specialist for our location in Shreveport, Louisiana. This role is a key player in ourparts and service department, responsible for the sale, receipt, and delivery of parts and accessories. This role involves direct interaction with customers, providing exceptional in-store service, and ensuring that technicians have the necessary parts for their work.If you're passionate about hands-on work and excel in a role that requires both technical expertise and customer interaction, we invite you to apply and help us drive success in the material handling industry.Responsibilities:Engage with customers to sell parts and accessories, understanding their needs and offering solutions.Receive and process parts inventory, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.Deliver parts and accessories to customers and technicians as needed.Provide high-quality in-store customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.Support technicians by supplying the required parts promptly to minimize downtime.Maintain a clean and organized parts department to facilitate easy access and efficient service.Assist with inventory control, including stock checks and ordering parts as needed.Collaborate with the service department to ensure a seamless customer experience.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in parts management is a plus.Proven experience in parts sales or a similar role within the material handling or related industry.Strong customer service skills with a track record of satisfying customers.Excellent communication abilities to interact effectively with customers and team members.Familiarity with inventory management systems and parts cataloging.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.A team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to excellence.Valid DMV record.Ability to meet the physical demands and duration of physical exertion generally required to perform tasks in support of all job functions.Qualified applicants must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment drug test and background check.
