Location: Alexandria, LA

Schedule: On-site with around 50% travel

Compensation: $95,000 - $118,000 base salary + relocation assistance (if applicable) + full benefits

Position Overview

We are seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to support our quality management system through technical, analytical, and project management work. This plant-based role focuses on supplier audits, compliance verification, and process improvement initiatives, with extensive travel to supplier facilities. You will plan and execute audits, analyze technical data, lead corrective actions, and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve quality issues. This position offers significant project ownership and the opportunity to make a measurable impact on supplier quality and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct supplier quality audits from planning through reporting and follow-up.
  • Analyze technical data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Support internal quality processes, documentation, and reporting.
  • Manage quality-related projects to completion, meeting timelines and deliverables with minimal supervision.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, or related U.S.-based degree.
  • 3-5 years in quality, manufacturing, or engineering; will consider 2 years with strong internships.
  • Proven technical and analytical skills, with strong project management abilities.
  • Experience in supplier quality, auditing, or compliance in a manufacturing environment preferred.
