ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Our advanced nuclear client is seeking a highly motivated Component Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will be performing mechanical piping and pressure vessel component design.

Perform ASME design specification detailed design requirements and code application basis work, including technical reviews and independent design verification functions.

Analyze and evaluate critical dimensions and functional limits.

Perform subcomponent joint design standards and criteria specification work and gaskets/seals selections and specifications work.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

5+ years of relevant experience.

Ability to travel 15% of the time.

Knowledge of ASME Sec III

Nuclear energy industry experience.

BONUS QUALIFICATIONS

Certifying engineering, qualified to ASME Sec III (subsection NF desired)

PE certification
