Salary: $1,962.27 - $2,162.27 /wk Join our team as an Echo Ultrasound Tech / Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist and operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, prepare patients for echocardiogram procedures, and produce diagnostic cardiac images for interpretation by the healthcare team. Minimum Requirements: National certification from ARDMS (RDMS) or CCI (RCS, DCS) required. (DCS, RCS, or RDMS through ARDMS or CCI) BLS certification required. Experience with adult echocardiography required. Experience with pediatric tele-echocardiography preferred. Experience with stress echocardiography preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology preferred. High school diploma required. Two years of experience in cardiology field preferred. Assignment Details Facility Type: Hospital Shift Name: Days Shift Details: Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:30 Work Schedule: 5 days, 8 hours per day Weekend Requirement: Rotating weekends every 5th week On-Call Requirement: On call one week every 5th week Typical Volume: Approximately 6-8 echos per day Location Highlights Alexandria, LA provides access to regional outdoor recreation and cultural attractions within short drives.
