Join our team as an Echo Ultrasound Tech / Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist and operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, prepare patients for echocardiogram procedures, and produce diagnostic cardiac images for interpretation by the healthcare team.
Minimum Requirements:
- National certification from ARDMS (RDMS) or CCI (RCS, DCS) required. (DCS, RCS, or RDMS through ARDMS or CCI)
- BLS certification required.
- Experience with adult echocardiography required. Experience with pediatric tele-echocardiography preferred.
- Experience with stress echocardiography preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology preferred. High school diploma required.
- Two years of experience in cardiology field preferred.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Hospital
- Shift Name: Days
- Shift Details: Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:30
- Work Schedule: 5 days, 8 hours per day
- Weekend Requirement: Rotating weekends every 5th week
- On-Call Requirement: On call one week every 5th week
- Typical Volume: Approximately 6-8 echos per day
