Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Allied Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available Opportunity: Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology Job Details: • Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM • Full-time position with no weekend or on-call requirements • Perform routine and advanced nuclear medicine imaging procedures • Provide support for other imaging technologists and facilitate efficient patient flow • Demonstrate flexibility by working other shifts and/or at other campuses as needed • Troubleshoot basic maintenance, participate in quality assurance, and resolve image processing issues • Handle radionuclides and pharmaceuticals while maintaining radiation safety protocols • Complete daily logs and periodic tests as required by license • Ensure completed exams are scanned and stored correctly in PACS system • Follow PACS downtime procedures as a PACS Superuser • Required certifications: Nuclear Medicine Technology (N) by ARRT or NMTCB, Louisiana LRT (N) or (F) by LSRTBE, BLS • State licensure required • Graduate of accredited school of Radiology Technology or approved equivalent required • 1 year of experience in clinical nuclear medicine setting preferred • Basic computer experience required • Must maintain professional behavior, dress code, attendance, and reliability standards Facility: This healthcare facility is a comprehensive medical center that provides advanced nuclear medicine imaging services as part of their radiology department.
