About this Job Job Number: 08/50694629/ AT/05.01.26-LT District Recruitment for Rapides Parish:This Accounting Technician processes invoices from external vendors and ensures accurate processing of all payables. It also serves as the timekeeper for various units. Incumbent must be self-motivated and be able to perform duties independently with little to no supervision on a daily basis. The incumbent is expected to exercise a high degree of independent judgment and initiative in determining the approach/action to take in non-routine situations that may arise. This position must possess an extensive knowledge of DOTD procurement and accounting policies and procedures in accordance with Louisiana and Federal guidelines, and DOTD Business Services and Procedures Manual, to report and document all accounting activities accomplished.
