Job Location: Alexandria, LA
Pay: $12.00/hour
Shifts Vary Between 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Schedule based on hotel occupancy and business needs)

Our client, a hotel in Alexandria, LA, is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Inspector to help maintain high cleanliness and quality standards throughout the property. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet hotel expectations before guests arrive.

The ideal candidate will have previous housekeeping experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to lead by example in maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met
• Audit completed housekeeping work and identify areas requiring correction
• Check rooms for maintenance concerns and report issues promptly
• Verify that guest rooms are properly stocked with amenities and supplies
• Monitor and manage housekeeping supply inventory
• Ensure public areas are clean, organized, and guest-ready
• Assist housekeeping staff with cleaning duties as needed during busy periods
• Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and hotel management teams
• Ensure compliance with hotel cleanliness, safety, and operational procedures

• Previous hotel housekeeping experience
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to identify housekeeping deficiencies and ensure corrective action
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Dependable attendance and professional demeanor
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed

• Previous experience as a Housekeeping Inspector, Lead Housekeeper, or Housekeeping Supervisor
• Experience managing inventory and housekeeping supplies
• Knowledge of hotel cleanliness and guest service standards

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and climbing stairs
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hotel environment
